How each state is handled
BBS: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW
HourJourney checks every week's hours against BBS supervision ratio rules as you log them, and auto-fills Form 37A-525 (AMFT), Form 37A-638 (APCC), and the ASW Weekly Log of Experience Hours. Pre-degree and post-degree hours reclassify automatically from your degree award date.

BHEC: LPC, LMFT, LCSW
Texas counts duration in calendar months, not weeks, and each of the three BHEC tracks runs its own supervision math: a monthly minimum for LPC Associates, a 200-hour total with a weekly session for LMFT Associates, and a 100-hour total capped at 10 a month for LMSWs. HourJourney generates the Supervised Experience Documentation Form, the Supervised Experience Verification Form, and the LCSW Clinical Supervision Verification Form (HourJourney draws that one because BHEC publishes it as a Word file).

Switching mid-licensure

- Your old hours stay valid. Keep the logs already generated and signed. They do not need to be re-entered anywhere to count. If you do want them in HourJourney too, its calendar lets you log any past week directly, so backfilling completed hours takes minutes, not a migration.
- Start new time in the new tool. A clean boundary, like a new supervisor or a new site, makes the paperwork simplest, since board forms are organized per supervisor anyway.
