HourJourney Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HourJourney at hourjourney.io, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time with notice.
2. Description of Service
HourJourney is a web-based supervision hours tracking platform for California pre-licensed mental health clinicians (AMFTs, APCCs, ASWs). HourJourney is a tracking tool only. We do not provide legal, regulatory, or licensing advice. You are solely responsible for verifying BBS compliance. We make no guarantee of BBS approval or licensure.
3. User Eligibility
Must be 18+, a California pre-licensed clinician or enrolled in an accredited program.
4. User Responsibilities
Provide accurate data, maintain credential confidentiality, use the Service for its intended purpose, do not share accounts, independently verify BBS compliance.
5. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations with notice. You retain ownership of your data and can export it. You may cancel anytime.
6. Subscription and Billing
Monthly subscription plans. Payments via Stripe. Auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancellation effective at end of billing period with read-only access.
7. Refund Policy
Pro rata refunds for unused days. Contact us via our contact form.
8. User Data and Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of your data. We do not claim ownership. We have a limited license to process and store your data for providing the Service. We never sell personal data.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content is owned by HourJourney. May not reproduce without permission. The HourJourney name and logo are trademarks.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties. No guarantee of BBS compliance or licensure.
11. Limitation of Liability
HourJourney is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost income or licensing opportunity. Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the preceding 12 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify HourJourney from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of Terms, or inaccurate data.
13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Binding individual arbitration in California. Waiver of jury trial and class action. Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief.
14. Governing Law
Laws of the State of California.
15. Modifications to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with 30 days notice. Data export will be provided.
16. Third-Party Services
Integrations with Stripe, Supabase, and Vercel are subject to their respective terms.
17. Severability
Invalid provisions will be modified to the minimum extent necessary; the remainder remains in full force.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement.
